AVP - Project & Engineering - Insurance (12-18 yrs)

Our client is a leading mid- market investment bank with strong practices around M&A, PE, Capital Markets, Institutional Equities, Wealth Management, Insurance Broking, and Portfolio Management Services.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Leading the business in driving Infrastructure and Project Insurance vertical with P/L responsibility
- Developing new clients and servicing existing clients in the Infra & Construction space
- Would be required to analyse the client landscape, doing gap analysis of the existing insurance programs, suggesting better terms and cost optimization measures
- Assisting the client with enterprise level risk management solution focusing the complete insurance portfolio
- Interacting with the risk underwriting markets and sourcing the best solutions for our clients.
- Ensuring all the documentations and policy issuance is as per proper compliance
- Renewal tracking and ensuring timely reminders are sent to the clients for premium payment to ensure insurance continuity
- Providing continuous assistance to our clients about any query related to claims
- Coordination with all the internal stakeholders for execution of deliverables for the clients.
- End to End monitoring and execution of responsibilities i.e. On boarding to renewal of clients.
- Update and educate oneself continuously on happenings in marketplace, local environment, opportunities etc. which have direct bearing on local operations
- Ensure all necessary knowledge enhancement efforts (including certifications wherever applicable).
- Determines marketing and BD strategies to achieve profitability and market share and seize market opportunities of deals
- Entrepreneurial attitude driven execution of desired objectives
- Strengthen firm's relationship at Senior Management level with the existing clients
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in Insurance sector with at least 6-7 years in General Insurance Broking
- MBA (Finance/ Marketing)/ CA / Insurance degree would be an added advantage
- Domain knowledge on infrastructure/engineering and project policy
- Hands on experience on risk inspection & survey etc. ancillary to the subject & good connection with the insurance eco system
- Excellent Relationship Management skills - prospecting, signing new relationships, nurturing existing ones and deepening the effort for incremental asset growth
- Ability to effectively network across markets and generate potential business leads
- Design value proposition/ client acquisition pitches and knack of closing deals efficiently
- Team handling experience and track record of working remotely and unsupervised.
- Extensive Corporate client handling & transaction closure experience
- Ability to handle diverse type of Clients /Mid to Large Corporates
- Strong blend of analytical thinking and operations execution.
- Excellent eye for details, interpersonal and communication skills
- BQP (Broker Qualified Person) certification
- Maintain a positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction
