Reports to: Chief Bancassurance Officer
Key Contributions:
Sales
- Responsible for the ANP, VoNB and other business targets for the channel
- Conceptualize and implement projects particularly related to Branch Banking to increase wallet share & enable profitable product mix
- Conceptualize, create, execute and monitor short term / long term category plans aligned to marketing strategy to maximize success of channel aligned products
- Should possess in depth knowledge on Branch Banking Channel business model, sales propositions & business model.
- Should possess skills which enable him/her to generate business models which are viable and implementable and can enable us to get a better penetration on the business front.
- Plan and conduct workshops / sessions to implement various initiatives
- Develop and implement training modules as per channel requirement
- Ensure profitability of the channel
- Extensive travel involved(Minimum 12 days a month)
Relationship Management
- Build relationship with the HDFC Bank TPP Team and TPP Head so as to ensure our key KPIs are met.
- To ensure the business and productivity targets are met effectively.
- Enable sales team by ensuring that all sales enablers with regards to sales tools, sales propositions & help items are in place.
- Ensuring timely issuance of policies with resolving all pending etc.
- To manage the sales commercials for the channel; which includes internal co-ordination amongst various departments.
- To make weekly/monthly presentations to the bank hierarchy. Hence has to be adept with usage of MS Excel, Powerpoint etc at ADVANCE level.
Ensure compliance
- Ensure compliance to internal sales process & other compliance standards
- Should be process & product champion to ensures adherence to policies and procedures to cultivate a compliance culture in the team
Technical skills Required -
- Banking, financial services industry, business perspective & planning exposure
- Experience in partner management and aligning to the business strategies of partner and contribute to process excellence and continuous improvement
- Ability to lead discussions with partner, business, operations, vendors and convince leaderships to execute process improvement projects
- Ability to provide overall direction, guidance and definition of business to effectively support business strategy
- Product/Subject matter expertise including partnership distribution / bancassurance regulation understanding
