Opportunity for AVP for P&L Accounting role.

Experience : 5 - 8 Years

Role : Soft Dollar

LEVEL : AVP

Shifts : APAC , EMEA , AMER

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Supervision on monthly client CSA & RCCA Reconciliations and journal postings

- Build & document new SOX controls against key activities under SOX frameworks

- General ledger Account Ownership (GLAO) Reconciliation

- Making third party payments and setting up static data in the systems.

- Collaborate with IT team to automate and streamline the processes

- Drive Strategic & Process enhancement projects in collaboration with other teams

- Perform independent assessment of the operating effectiveness of controls through testing, challenge to the functions and cross reference to the bank's guidelines and policy framework

- Independently engage with regional leads, risk teams, Finance, Product Control and other functions in efforts to manage functional goals

- Manage daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reporting of key risk & performance indicators to provide transparency to the regional/global leads on the risks in their function. Lead and manage the oversight of Key Risk Indicators including the monthly governance forums with N3/N3 to review PRI's and other risks

Requirements :

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Operations / Finance / Product Control or similar roles with a strong understanding of trade flows and exposure to Securities / OTC FX / Asset Servicing functions

- Excellent understanding of Financial Products within an Investment Banking Environment

- Comprehensive knowledge of the front to back office flows in a Banking Business and potential inherent control and operational risks

- Good knowledge of SoX framework and hands on experience with focus on building controls

- Experience in control testing, audit and or assurance will be a significant advantage

- Experience in Control functions, detailed knowledge of balance sheet reconciliations, accounting, break remediation and month close activities

- Demonstrate effective analytical/problem solving and decision making skills. Attention to detail, diligent and good time management of tasks

- Strong communication skills and able to establish excellent partnership with partners

- Demonstrate an eagerness to learn and develop skills, and business awareness Own and be accountable for the management of own performance
