AVP - Performance Marketing - Alternative Investment Tech Startup (7-9 yrs)

Founded in 2020, this Gurugram based digital platform is truly democratising investment opportunities and helping individuals find new ways of investment to grow their wealth.

Its founding team members include the leadership alumni of companies like OYO, Pepperfry, Morgan Stanley, World bank, among others.

As a Assistant Vice President (AVP) Performance Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing performance marketing strategies to achieve key business objectives, optimizing campaign performance, and driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.

What you will do :

- Developing and executing comprehensive performance marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across various digital channels, including but not limited to search engine marketing (SEM), paid social, display advertising, and affiliate marketing

- Analyzing and optimizing campaign performance, leveraging data-driven insights to maximize ROI and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs)

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including creative, product, and analytics, to develop compelling and effective marketing campaigns

- Managing and monitoring marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and delivering results within budgetary constraints

- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in performance marketing, identifying new opportunities and innovative strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness

- Utilizing marketing analytics tools and platforms to track and report on campaign performance, providing regular updates to key stakeholders and senior management

- Leading a team of performance marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to drive individual and team success

- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to optimize marketing efforts and exploring new growth opportunities

- Collaborating with the data analytics team to leverage customer insights and segmentation for targeted marketing campaigns

- Staying informed about industry regulations, privacy policies and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations in all marketing activities

What you need to have :

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus

- 8+ years of proven experience in performance marketing, preferably in a managerial or leadership role

- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEM, paid social, display advertising, and affiliate marketing

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions

- Proficiency in using marketing analytics tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.

- Excellent understanding of key performance metrics and the ability to optimize campaigns to achieve business objectives

- Experience with budget management and delivering results within allocated resources

- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, providing clear direction, feedback, and fostering a collaborative work environment

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Knowledge of the latest marketing trends, tools, and industry best practices

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
