- The direct reports in to this role are the Departmental Heads of Manufacturing, Engineering,

- Planning, Supplier Quality, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Plant HR & Finance.

- The Associate Vice President, Operations is responsible for leading the Plant Operations in developing and implementing strategy and over all operations to ensure superior customer service, achievement of financial goals, inspiring our team, helping our customers succeed, and growing the business and profitability with integrity. This is a leadership role that will foster teamwork, creative thinking and collaborative dialog with departments.

Vice President of Operations must be committed to

- Formulates and recommends manufacturing policies and operations that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the plant operation.

- Budgeting for plant for its capital requirement, Develops and analyzes production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure on-time customer deliveries at minimum costs and to prevent operational delays.

- Achieves optimum employee levels with least amount of overhead and raw material costs to meet annual budgetary plan.

- Manages the Operations functions on all shifts. Includes planning the production flow, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, handling staffing issues, monitoring production orders and schedules, and providing technical training to employees.

- Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy.

- Directs and monitors all department managers to accomplish their goals. Acts as liaison between department management/subordinate levels, as well as executive/department manager levels to share appropriate communications, decisions, policies and all matters that affect their performance, attitudes and results.

- Identifies, recommends and implements changes to improve productivity and reduce costs and scrap at manufacturing facilities.

- Directs and coordinates various programs essential to manufacturing procedures (e.g., training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, worker involvement, security, etc.).

- Initiates and coordinates major projects (e.g., plant layout changes, installation of capital equipment, major repairs, etc.).

- Develops and implements improvement initiatives utilizing 5S, TQM and TPM. Develop and implement Standard Work in all departments. Monitors and achieves plant's operational budget.

- Manages all aspects of safety and quality in the facility. Develops programs within these areas, ensures the plant is in compliance with the standards, and delivers training to all employees.

Minimum Qualifications:

- BE or B. Tech, preferably in Mechanical

- 18+ years of experience in Plant Operations / manufacturing role

- 5+ years in a management role, overseeing the overall plant operations
