AVP - Operational Risk/Treasury - BFSI (6-8 yrs)
We have a position in the Treasury team of a Bank in Mumbai as per following Specifications :
Role and Responsibilities :
- The incumbent shall be responsible for implementing various initiatives of Operational Risk Management Deptt. including monitoring and reporting about risk profile of associated units.
- The incumbent will lead various initiatives in implementing a robust Operational Risk Management framework in the Treasury segment of the Bank.
Relevant Experience
Relevant Experience: Minimum 3-5 years actively in identification and mitigation of Operational Risks in various Treasury Products, Processes and Services offered under Global Markets / Treasury Group
Requirements
- Thorough understanding of Global Markets Group - Treasury Products and regulations pertaining to Treasury
- Good Knowledge of Processes related to the above Products/Functions in Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office and Market Risk.
- Good knowledge of Treasury systems, Dealing Systems and other markets related applications
- Conduct Risk & Control Self-Assessment workshops, identify Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), monitor and report Issues and Actions
- Carry out root cause analysis of Operational Risk Events/Loss Events and development of mitigation plans
- Design plausible scenarios for Stress Testing and conduct scenario analysis workshops
- Develop dashboards/reports for Treasury and associated Functions and publish it to senior management
- Assist in conducting Operational Risk Management Committee (ORMC) meetings
- Develop relationship with other 1st line of defence (Head - Operations) other 2nd Line Functions e.g. Compliance and 3rd Line i.e. Internal Audit for risk identification, assessment and their effective mitigation
Qualifications
- CA, MBA (from good B school) / Qualification in Finance/ Commerce
- FRM/PRM
