About our Client - Our client is one of the leading Financial Institutions Globally. Due to expansion in their global business, a newly created opportunity has come up as AVP of Risk and Control for their Global Finance Centre of Excellence. They are looking for seasoned professional with around 7 years of experience to join their team as AVP - Risk and Control.
Job Description - Reporting into Head of Risk - Finance COE India, you would be responsible for supporting centre's response to Sarbanes Oxley 404 legislation and for ensuring that the team meets its obligations as the first line of defence, reporting and escalation of risk to the management. This function will be established in response to the critical business need for end to end knowledge and understanding of accounting processes for all business activity, new products and for all major projects incorporated within the Finance COE.
The Successful Candidate - You must be a CA or MBA Finance with atleast 7 years of post-qualifying experience.
- Thorough understanding of financial control principles and regulations like SOX, Basel etc.
- Knowledge of financial systems and reporting processes.
- Prior experience of working in an environment with a strong control focus
