AVP - Market Risk Analytics - Credit Desk (4-7 yrs)

Risk and Control Objective

Productions of analytics

- Running monthly funding pulse check meeting across FO/COU/RMG/PCG/BM, reviewing actions, funding requirements, P&L, and producing the pack for the meeting with RMG/PCG input

- Monthly review of EF Outlook with RMG and Credits Funding AE

- Production of quarterly funding update for Global Head of Credit Trading and QBRs

- Supporting in producing Funding MTP and documenting assumptions

Specific projects

- Monitoring CCP IM drivers

- Setting up formal process with COU to manage JTD risk

- Ensuring QA setup process for IBMO to manage CCP switches

- Getting LCH IM calculations in ICE

- Document allocation keys of IM funding charges so FO understand the mechanics of the allocation to their P&Ls

- Bond secured funding analysis establishing regular MI for Trading desk of secured funding efficiency between FIF/PCG

- Loans secured funding analysis ensuring accurate data is used for funding, and appropriate WALs are used across secondary, CLO business

Stresses

- Repo CLR challenging MI and calculation to get transparency on the underlying drivers of the stress, and what action can be taken to reduce stress working with FIF

- Intraday CLR review calculation methodologies and allocation keys

What will you be doing?

- Setup and production of regular risk analytics reports which will feed into our global risk strategy for Credit Trading/Funding business

- Liaise with multiple team globally to retrieve relevant datasets and prepare the story with specific focus on risk strategy

- Work closely with the global business management teams to understand wider priorities and provide timely inputs to drive active risk management

What were looking for:

- Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent (i.e. Finance, Management, Economics, Business, Computer Science)

- Understanding of what a Credit Trading does and the financial products it trades along with general understanding of the Funding business in an investment banking setup

- Direct experience in a Risk Analytics function preferably in Credit Trading business with strong understand of risk metrics like CS01 (Credit Spread 01), CCS1%, VAR (regulatory and management), LID0 (loss in default at zero recovery), balance sheet (long vs short), etc.

- Proficient in MS Office suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word

- Hands on experience on Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Tableau and Qlikview is an added benefit

The successful candidate will have proven experience of:

- Executing against tight deadlines

- Ability to handle stressful situations

- Good Stakeholder communication skills

- Evidence of successful collaboration in a global, geographically dispersed environment

Skills that will help you in the role:

- 3-4 years of experience in a risk analytics function

- Prior experience in data analytics, data visualisation, VBA or python programming is strongly desirable
