We have an opening with one of the MNC Bank for the role of AVP-Loan Operations.

Job description as follows: 

The individual will be a contributing member of the Loan Reconciliations team, responsible for delivery of high quality results on various mandates that the team is working in partnership with various teams within Operations, Technology and Finance. Should have demonstrated an insightful ability to build strategy and in an ever changing environment, should have demonstrated the core capability to continuously prioritize and re-evaluate strategic execution plans

Responsibilities : 

- Have a strong background and understanding of the Wholesale Credit Operations. Be a Subject Matter Expert and have a thorough understanding of Loan IQ application

- As a senior member, work closely with various stakeholders to drive the business agenda of building a strong team supporting various aspects of reconciliations, governance and control.

- Proactively identify & communicate gaps in the business, as well as recommend controls (reports, procedural changes, governance routines) that can be leveraged to streamline the process

- Ensure Audit Readiness for the business - Ensure that SOPs and other governance documents are updated timely and accurately whenever there are any technology / process changes in the business

- Design & streamline Quality Audit methodology, Rebuttal & Training/OJT processes for the business to enhance quality and better on-boarding experience for new hires

- Proactively communicate and ensure visibility to leadership on the upcoming technology changes/enhancements, Deployment Plan, Impact Assessment based on the scope - Process/procedures, Associate, Systems etc. & lessons learnt Take complete accountability & ownership for Testing of controls and recommend new controls / remediation plan based on the findings

- Identify Process / Technology issues, relay them to relevant stakeholders as well as Project Team and bring them to closure through follow-up /mediation with Technology/LOB

- Have innovative approach to work and continuously identify and implement process improvements

Requirements : 

- Mandatory Skills

- Knowledge of Commercial Loans is required

- Good experience and knowledge of project management skills and concepts

- Eye for detail and must be procedure focused to adhere to the Policy guidelines.

- Strong business centric mind-set with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes; understands how business decisions impact regional risk

- Ability to understand and drive Front-to-Back Workflow and articulate and understand full product / transaction life-cycle in Global Banking.

- Excellent Stake holder management (internal & external) across regions / functions / lines of business.

- Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
