JOB DESCRIPTION Department: Investment Banking Division (IBD)

Team: Investment Banking - Coverage

Designation: Assistant Vice President (AVP)

Key Responsibilities:

- Sector and Industry Mapping

- Business development for target sectors / clients across public and private market deals.

- Preparation of necessary pitch books & presenting to clients, developing the positioning and building deal theses.

- Building relationships with key players and decision makers in the sector

- Tracking key developments in the Sector & Target Companies

- Interaction with Research / IBD Product / Sales teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions

- Responsible to overview the due diligence, analysis and documentation of live transactions

- Maintain databases and case studies of transactions in the relevant sector/product

Relevant Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision

- Self-driven with ability to work long hours under tight deadlines with very high attention to detail

- Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills, especially in explaining market events

- Well versed with key Financial and Analytical skills, Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Familiarity with Bloomberg , Thomson Reuters

- Organize work, manage multiple projects, coordinate with different people, meet deadlines

- Attention to detail and process discipline

- Drive things for a successful closure

- Positive attitude, Ability to listen, learn and understand

- Ability to articulate complex in a clear, concise and compelling manner.

Experience:

- The candidate must have 4 -5 years of relevant experience in IB - Coverage/Origination.

- The sectors ideally covered could be BFSI, Healthcare & Bldg. Materials (open to other sectors)

- Looking at candidates from good educational pedigree and well-recognized organizations

Qualification: CA/MBA in Finance

Reporting To: As per the reporting structure

Salary Bandwidth: Depending on candidate's background and experience
