AVP - Investment Banking - BFS (6-10 yrs)
Job Description :
- Sharp business development and commercial acumen
- Ability to add and nurture relationships to pools of capital - across Angel Networks, Venture Capital, HNI/Family Office and relevant strategies
- Drive origination and conversion of leads - across Business Strategy, Venture Capital, Transaction Advisory and M&A
- Interacting with clients, contextualizing requirements and preparing proposals
- Enabling effective pitch & positioning of clients through preparation of high-quality presentations, investment collaterals or other reports
- Ability to lead transaction execution including pitch & positioning to investors, transaction structuring, enable due diligence and drive negotiation and closure
- Ability to evaluate and guide legal documentation for corporate ownership, projects and transactions
- Guiding analysis of companies across market landscape, policy landscape, technology, financial performance, peers & benchmarks and investor landscape
- Sound knowledge in analysing financial statements, financial modelling, financial analysis and business valuation
- Proficiency in atleast two sectors
Capabilities :
- Primary focus - Business Strategy, Venture Capital Advisory, M&A, Strategic/Operational Partnerships and Joint Ventures
- Other areas - Tax & Regulatory Structuring and Governance
Academic Qualifications :
- Chartered Accountant (with exposure to Investment Banking/Transaction Advisory) or
- BE/Btech + MBA (CFA an added advantage)
