The Opportunity:
Specific responsibilities include:
- Live Pricing of structured equity products for clients
- Assessing clients' needs and creating customized solutions, with the help of sales and onshore structuring teams
- Idea generation based on market conditions and for targeting clients
- Secondary market pricing (Add On and Unwinds)
- Working with Traders and Quants to develop and improve the functionality and scope of existing pricing/back-testing infrastructure (Python and VBA)
- Reporting analytics for business insights and support
- Double scripting (new scripted pay-offs need to be scripted twice in parallel to be validated).
Qualifications - External
What you will need to succeed in the role:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in structuring/pricing products
- Strong mathematical ability and understand of equity derivatives products and their structures
- Excellent problem solving and coding exposure to Python and VBA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills/ability to express ideas via writing
- Pro-activeness/Initiative taking
- Ability to work within a team and speak directly to onshore stakeholders
- Proven ability to prioritise workload effectively in line with business priorities.
