Qualifications and Experience: MBA/ B-tech from a top-tier school

Role:

We are looking for a process-oriented, data-driven, and analytical mind. The right candidate should have excelled in both planning and execution. An Individual with Ops planning or Ops consulting experience can be a good fit. The individual should have exposure to time-sensitive complex operations. The person shouldn't be hesitant to spend time on the floor and field to understand the nuisances of the business. The person should be a very good listener and empathizer. He should be able to take initiative, deal with challenges, and come out as a conqueror. A go-getter attitude is must excel in this profile.

Requirements:

- Having 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience with designing high impact Ops processes

- MBA/ B-tech from a top-tier school.

- Experience with Managing/ implementing exposure with blue-collar employees

- Strong sense of data, analytical skills to measure the impact of process/ process change on the stated objective

- Enthusiastic to work on the ground (field/ warehouse set up)

- Good Excel/data management skills

Responsibilities

The Challenge:

Agriculture is a space of high-volume low-value produce with ever-growing customer expectation of low-cost high-quality produces. At the same time Producers (Farmers) always feel like a neglected class and look for incentives and motivation to produce better. Besides, the whole value chain is marred with inefficiencies leading to 30 - 35 % wastages between Farm to Fork. Challenge is to create positive impacts through innovation in processes and practices.

Key Expectations:

- Process Innovation: Bring an innovative approach to solve the problem. The focus should be on low-cost high-impact processes. Design every process with three main objectives:

- High value for customers (Quality of produce)

- Low Cost (Complete cost of the process including human resources)

- High throughput (Speed)

- Process efficiency: supervise every process for the desired outcome at high speed and low cost

- Inclusion of technology: explore and achieve technological up-gradation of processes

- Data visibility: Should be able to design complete data mapping for the processes, data inputs, and formats, MIS reports

- SOPs: -Should focus on developing SOPs for all the processes before being implemented and design a method for periodic audit and action plan

- Reiteration of processes till the objective is achieved

- Simplify the process for users
