The role holder will be responsible for supporting the Business Management, Client Proposition and Client Strategy Office in Asset Management Group's Management Information and Analytics functions.

- Coordination and ownership of Management Information required by the Business Management, Client proposition and Client Strategy team of Asset Management group for business monitoring and key decision making - across long/medium/short term strategic initiatives

- The role holder will play a key role in developing and maintaining the Management Office MI function for global consistency and increased efficiency of MI.

- Incumbent will be required to ensure timely information is produced on a routine and streamlined basis

- Said individual will play an active role in building up new processes and suggesting improvements and enhancements to existing ones

- This role requires the incumbent to execute selected business critical processes with consistent coordination with onshore counterpart and with customer management teams across multiple countries.

- Interaction with other asset class team members in Bangalore to understand activities being performed currently and suggesting and implementing enhancements that will help save time and/or add value to the process

The jobholder will also adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators.

The jobholder will implement the Group compliance policy by containing compliance risk in liaison with Global Head of Compliance, Global Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer. The term - compliance- embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply.

This will be achieved by adhering to all relevant processes/procedures and by liaising with Compliance department about new business initiatives at the earliest opportunity. Also and when applicable, by ensuring adequate resources are in place and training is provided, fostering a compliance culture and optimising relations with regulators.

- Overall experience of 12 years or above preferably in the Banking and Asset Management industry

- Knowledge of Asset classes, Business Model, Revenue Model in Asset Management industry is preferred

- Analytical Skills - proven interpretation and utilization of management information

- Ability to distill complex and varied data into information; good process analysis and problem solving skills

- Excellent written, verbal & presentation (including advanced PowerPoint) communication skills

- Advanced level of MS Excel, VBA Macro development

- Attention to detail and ability to ensure that information is captured in a timely manner

- Proven ability to prioritize workload effectively in line with business priorities

- Willingness to own work and problems and see through to completion and use own initiative to resolve issues

- Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to succeed within a matrix management structure and build and maintain global team relationships

- Able to work independently, proactively and under pressure against multiple deadlines

- Evidence of delivery in a similar role within a global organization would be an added advantage
