About Our Client
Our client is one of the leading Financial Institutions Globally. Due to expansion in their global business, an excellent opportunity has come up for a AVP - Risk and Control for their Finance COE. They are looking for seasoned professional with around 10-12 years of experience to join their team.
Job Description
- Reporting into the VP, you would be responsible for managing and strengthening Operational Risk Management and Control Environment for the Finance COE. You would also be responsible for developing and implementing the overall control environment to manage operational losses and compliance to SOX regulations.
- This function will be established in response to the critical business need for end to end knowledge and understanding of accounting processes for all business activity. In addition, you would also be responsible for managing the relationship with Finance COE's Compliance, Group Internal Audit and external audit teams. Managing Business Continuity would also be key to this role.
The Successful Applicant
- You must be a CA/CPA/MBA with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience. You must have exposure to risk management specifically on F&A processes. Knowledge of financial systems and reporting processes would be preferable. Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, supporting long term career development.
