We Are Hiring for Assistant Vice president -IFRS Reporting Role for our client in Mumbai.

Below is the job description for the AVP role.

Role Description:

This Team wil bel responsible to produce and submit IFRS and FAS Disclosures. The role is to submit FAS 157, IFRS 12 - Disclosure of Interests in Other Entities and IFRS 13 - Level 3 disclosures. the overarching aim is to provide accurate reporting by the team and the narrative behind figures. Key to success is continuing to build on our partnerships within Finance and with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- IFRS 13 Disclosure Form C337 for Fair Value of DB's Financial Instruments valued using a Level 3 valuation

- IFRS 13.93(e) Form C376 for disclosure of Roll Forward Table for all Financial Assets and Liabilities that are classified as Level 3 during the period.

- IFRS 13.93(f) Form C377 for disclosure of the unrealized P&L on Level 3 financial instruments held at a reporting date.

- FAS 157 amd IFRS 12 data collection and submission.

- Understand movements and provide business insights for such moves

- Work with Finance colleagues to review and improve controls around the submitted numbers

- Participate in the relevant Group Finance calls to ensure smooth execution of the process

- Obtain template sign-offs on the numbers to be reported.

- Support clearance of Regional Finance validation breaks with Business Finance

- Support internal/ external audit and regulator queries.

- Work with key stakeholders in Finance team, business and regulatory affairs and support projects and relevant updates to the database as a result of regulatory initiatives/ changes.

- Address adhoc requests from the likes of Business Finance, GVG, Investor Relations.

- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across PRM, Group Finance, Business Finance teams and other risk and control functions outside of Finance

- Develop the reporting infrastructure through input into tactical and strategic solutions.

- As an SME, conduct necessary knowledge share sessions for the team on relevant topics whenever necessary.

- Perform qualitative review of the team's book of work, further enhance existing processes and challenge the assumptions, where appropriate.

- Ability to make decisions, influence and drive others and work in a co-operative manner and find resolutions to potential conflict.

- The ability to simplify and explain complex issues to other colleagues, including senior management.

- The ability to work in a continually changing environment with colleagues across multiple locations and cultures.

Experience/Exposure:
 
- A good understanding of the Reporting Framework and Product, Risk and regulatory drivers of the businesses is preferred.

- Strong presentation skills, networking and communication skills (verbal and written)

- Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc)

- Working knowledge in a proprietary tool such as Qlikview, Cognos, Tableau is preferred.

Education/ Qualifications :

- Qualified Accountant/MBA with 7-9 yrs of experience in the banking/financial sector

- Additional Qualification like International CFA, FRM will be an advantage.
