AVP - Financial Controller (6-9 yrs)
Our client is a global bank and financial services with operations across the globe. As part of global operations, they are actively seeking an experienced individual to be part of Financial Control team.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Complete accountability of Legal Entity control.
- Evaluate GAAP and IFRS rules to determine impact of new regulations
- Financial Statement consolidated reviews in accordance with accounting and regulatory disclosure requirements - IFRS & US GAAP.
- Deliver data and content on financial and extra financial risks for internal stakeholders globally
- Review and ownership of FX risk management through trade-out and capital hedging, as required by FASB (FAS 52).
- Review & prepare Regulatory Reporting in compliance with various regulators US Fed, RBI, HKMA, MAS, APRA, etc.
- Will be a part of migration project
To be eligible for this role you will require:
- Minimum 6-9 years of post-qualification experience in a Financial Control or similar environment.
- Qualified Accountant - CA, CPA, ACCA OR MBA (Finance)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of US GAAP / IFRS Accounting and Reporting.
- Significant experience in leading Financial Control / Legal Entity Control functions.
- Strong technical exposure migrations & implementations of Reporting software.
- Tools required: SAP, PowerBI, Business Objects ,Oracle, SAP
