AVP-Finance Transformation

Essential Responsibilities:

- Challenge and inspire cross-functional team members to achieve business results in a fast paced and quickly changing environment

- Contribute to continual process improvement and innovation, supporting effective delivery of solutions

- Work cross functionally to drive automation of manual processes

- Lead individual projects and perform other duties and/or other special assignments

- Work with controllership and business teams to shape business requirements and provide on-going communication through project execution

- Understand and communicate client business needs to the internal team

- Promote high standards of professional integrity on all proposed and actual business solutions

- Work with a geographically dispersed team to complete all aspects of the project.

- Coordinate efforts of users and other team members to determine root cause of issues, and be part of the resolution process

- Establish and maintain cross-functional relationships and provide critical communication to key leaders and stakeholder regarding status, milestones, and issue resolution

- Function independently on concurrent projects of varying size and complexity, involving cross functional teams and schedule constraints

- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree IT, Analytics, Engineering or other similar disciplines

- Minimum 3-4 years' experience in automation/simplification around financial processes

- Hands on experience on Project Management

- Advanced PC skills (Excel) ; operating systems, GL, and other accounting\financial systems

Desired Characteristics:

- Possesses proficiency in creating SharePoint workflows, developing VB scripts and developing Tableau reporting

- Information Science or related technical degree preferred

- Strong business acumen including a broad understanding of processes and practices

- Demonstrated experience managing internal clients

- Demonstrated decision making with the proven ability to solve business problems
