Our client, a leading real estate and hospitality group, is looking for a senior finance professional. Position: AVP Finance. Reports to : CFO Location: Gurgaon Key Deliverables 1. Lead and direct the fund raising initiatives of the group by continuously optimizing the borrowing cost. 2. Manage financial sustainability, drive financial performance & maximize return on investment for the Projects. 3. The role will provide strategic financial advice to the Promoters and will play a pivotal role in formulating future financial strategies as well as managing the cash flows of the group and managing the existing Finance & Accounting team. 4. Financial Control - Responsibile to ensure that appropriate systems and processes are in place across the company/ project sites. 5. Financial Strategy - includes budgeting, forecasting, contributing to overall strategy and investment prioritization. 6. Liaisewith Bankers, Private Equity players and intermediaries like Transaction Advisors, Legal Counsels, Security Trustees, Rating Agencies, etc. 7. Preparation of proposals for submission to Banks including CMA and project level projections. 8. Interact with the credit team and risk team of Banks. Must be adept at contract negotiation (with Bankers and other financial lenders), loan documentation and monitor the banking and financial covenants, as applicable. 9. Coordinate the annual audit (and any special or non-recurring audit) with the Auditors. 10. Provide both people management and subject matter leadership to the corporate finance team. Should have good understanding of secretarial compliance. Qualification: - CA qualification is a must have for this role. - Work Experience & Skills of minimum 14 + Years of experience in Finance function handling multiple leadership roles. - Prior experience of being a Finance Head in a multi business Group. (Real estate experience would be preferred) - Ability and proven experience to lead, coach and mentor a team. Willingness to work in high energy, fast and evolving organizational environment. - Exceptional business analysis, communication and collaboration skills. - The successful applicant should be from Gurgaon or willing to relocate to Gurgaon.
