Job Description

Job Title RM - Liabilities (Commercial Banking)

Department Commercial Banking

Grade AVP/DVP

Location - Bangalore

Reporting To Head - Liabilities (Commercial Banking)

Position Purpose: 

Business Development for onboarding NTBs for building liability in Commercial Bank. Commercial Bank caters to companies with turnover from Rs 50 to 2000 crores.

- Liability ( CA+FD) and fee based rev from FX and CMS.

Position Responsibilities: 

Sr. Key Responsibilities : 

Business acquisition :

- Creation of database of companies which are cash rich and can grow the Liability book of the bank. Identifying potential clients & their banking needs.

- Thorough understanding of client's business, promoters- background and current banking arrangement to identify gaps and pain points.

- Knowledge of CMS and Trade along with FX management to work with a solutioning approach to value add to clients

- Understanding of current digital evolution and developments to create a differentiator with clients

- Knowledge and market intelligence of Liability heavy segments like Shipping, Ecomm, Logistics, MNC- s, etc to build a target list and strategic approach plan.

- Acquiring new clients with regards to these products with key deliverable as revenue towards assets, liabilities and fee based income.

- Strong collaboration skills to work with different Coverage teams and other units to maximize on lead transfer and create synergies

Documentation & Process : 

- Liaise with various divisions like compliance / CAD / legal for on boarding the client and then servicing them.

Maintenance of Portfolio Quality and performance

- Monitoring the thruput of the account / pending compliances and cross sell opportunities to make RBL the primary bank for the customer.

- Ensure CMS solutioning and penetration

- Cross selling different products including Retail products to clients and be an ambassador of One RBL Bank

Qualifications and Experience Requirement
