Our Clients, one of the Leading Private Bank is looking out professionals to join their Quality Initiatives group based at Mumbai.
The role is at AVP/ DVP - Level and would be responsible for leading and executing Projects and Initiatives by engaging with Stake Holders, Senior leaders / management across the bank. Conduct fact-based analysis and RCA and identify projects.
The ideal incumbent should be a BE and/or MBA with 11 to 17 years, Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt of which hands-on experience in managing quality initiative projects for the Retail / Wholesale Banking / Financial Services sector.
Preferred Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) / Prince 2 certified Agile Methodology

Banking Product & Process Knowledge, Professional Presentation skills, Planning and Organizing Skills, excellent Communication with Knowledge of Competition & Current trends in service Industry and Knowledge of IT project Management mandatory
Responsibilities:
The individual would work with the Senior Management and ensure that the process improvement projects are executed and delivered within agreed timelines
Proactively identify the risk and prepare a mitigation plan
Project management:
- Identify potential projects in respective Domains based on interaction with senior management at various forums
- Evaluate projects to ensure that it is aligned with Banks vision. Cost savings / Customer delight to be evaluated before kick-starting a new project
- Regular reviews of all live projects to measure improvement and ensure timely delivery
- Define and deploy key project metrics
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders:
- Track the project progress by organizing project toll gate reviews
- Monitor the profitability of the projects undertaken by user teams
- Work closely with Business Sponsors / Business Heads to resolve key issues
Monitoring the progress of the projects:
- Tracking / Monitoring Project Progress
- Ensure implementation as per agreed timelines
- Effectively using escalation matrix to ensure timely delivery
- Work closely with Business Sponsors to resolve key issues
- Meditate cross functional issues faced during project execution
Team Management:
- Coach / Mentor the team
- Ensure timely review of the Projects of the reportees
- Work closely with Business Sponsors to resolve key issues
