Role & Responsibilities :

- To identify the strengths of team members, groom them to success, monitor them and inspire for the exceptional performance.

- Promote learning and development of the team. Handle recruitment for the team. Manage diverse teams and ensure healthy team dynamics at work place

- Ensure monthly TDS payments, quarterly Advance Tax Payments etc

- Review data for tax assessments, Tax and Transfer Pricing audits, Tax Returns, FATCA/ CRS, SFT, STT and other filings

- Advise business on various products

- Conduct tax reviews with Seniors at periodic intervals

- Handle and track past litigation matters and co-ordinate with consultants/ counsels

- Coordinate various audits

- Build relationship and network with revenue officials, auditors, consultants and internal customers

- Optimize overall tax cost and constantly look for opportunities

- Manage and review tax assets, advise accounting entries as applicable, obtain lower TDS certificates, follow up for Tax refunds etc
