AVP - Digital Learning Development

- We are looking for an experienced and innovative ELearning developer to join us. You will work alongside a team of talented artists, developers, and designers, and will enjoy the support of a company whose culture is focused on making learning fun.

- Reporting to the Digital Learning Development Manager, you, the ELearning Developer will build and deploy digital learning experiences leveraging agile design principles and techniques, with a focus on speed, flexibility and collaboration. You will partner with Instructional Designers and Subject Matter Experts to influence design decisions across teams, mentor other developers, and build high quality content, tools, and templates in a rapid content development (RCD) environment. This is an individual contributor role.

What you will do :

- Collaborate on eLearning design and requirements:

- Brainstorm with other ELearning Developers, Instructional Designers, and SMEs across the globe to come up with new ideas, concepts, and decide upon the creative direction of a project

- Use JIRA and KANBAN to help support an agile development environment, delivering projects that provide exceptional business value to clients

- Collaborate with peers and key stakeholders (clients, SMEs, IDs) to understand project requirements and influence course/curriculum design decisions and desired outcomes

Develop ELearning Content/Assets:

- Design and develop (using agile development tools and processes) engaging and interactive digital learning content- infographics, animations, motion-graphics, video, simulations, tests, and learning-games etc.- to elevate the learning experience

- Ensure training content adheres to audio/visual technical specifications for mobile and desktop learning, as well as brand guidelines, accessibility guidelines, and Industry best practices

- Thoroughly test, debug and troubleshoot across multiple devices and browsers

- Act as lead ELearning Developer on large scale projects with several resources and mentor other multimedia designers

- Consistently keep projects on schedule and high quality with little input from management

Innovate for Tomorrow:

- Research, evaluate, and prototype new and emerging technologies and approaches for potential application in learning

- Stay current and relevant in educational technology, adult learning, educational best practices

- Quickly identify, learn, and troubleshoot new tools and production processes when needed

Education & Skills :

- Bachelor's degree/PG in Art, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience

- 5+ years experience in designing and developing web, print, video, audio, graphic and multimedia deliverables.

- Obsession with crafting simple, intuitive, and delightful learning experiences

- Experience designing for a millennial audience with stimulating ideas - not your - traditional- page-turners

- Ability to work effectively on multiple projects in a fast moving, deadline-driven and agile development environment

- Flexible, upbeat and energetic attitude - self- starter with the ability to quickly build strong partnerships, effectively communicate needs and challenges

- Strong project management skills that are demonstrated by timely task completion and quality of deliverables

- Highly collaborative and open to multiple perspectives; work both independently and collaboratively to achieve outcomes
