Job Description - Real estate Debt syndication and land transaction
- Handling client and banking / Investor relationship, compilation of information, preparation of information memos (IM) dealing with Banks / FIs / NBFCs etc, successful closure of assignment, fee realization, securing repeat mandates from the same client etc.
- Handle all critical issues arising from clients (developers/ investors / land owners) and assist them in resolving the issues.
- Ability to work independently on various debt and corporate finance engagements with products like Working Capital Facilities, Project Finance, Term Loans, Structured Finance, etc.
- Preliminary & Comprehensive Financial Analysis
- Preparation of Financial Model for Term Loan
- Preparation of Comprehensive Project Reports / Information Memorandum
- Approaching Bankers & NBFC's for Fund Raising
- Evaluating Business Models and other aspects for Credit Facilities.
- Handling the entire process of Pre & Post Sanction activities including project evaluation / appraisal, preparation of Term and Mandate sheets, assisting in security creation until the loan disbursement stage.
- Knowing about regulatory, legal & compliance guidelines.
- High problem solving skills; ability to drive through to an outcome in circumstances of complexity and ambiguity
- Goal driven should be focused on helping clients meet their requirements by developing answers and solutions when client requirement remains unclear / changes, and by providing relevant insights and key questions to fit the client objective
- A commercial outlook and a good understanding of the general business and economic environment
- Sourcing and Execution of Real Estate assignments (Primarily Debt)
- Sourcing and Execution of Land transactions
- Business development in the real estate developer segment to create a pipeline of assignments, primarily debt and land transactions.
Required skills:
- CA and MBA - 5 years of experience
- Extensive network across Banks (PSU and PVT), NBFCs, Financial Institutions, family offices (if possible)
- Extensive network amongst developers and brokers (for sourcing transactions)
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge about RE market and the market dynamics
