Hiring for the position of AVP- Corporate Advisory (Debt. Syndication) for one of our Financial Advisory client in Mumbai.

Role & responsibilities:

Debt Syndication:

- Prepare all necessary documentation for debt syndication and liaise with banks and financial institutions to secure approval for proposals.

- Engage with clients and their commercial, finance, and accounts teams to gather essential information for conducting debt syndication assignments.

- Cultivate and maintain strong client-bank relationships, overseeing periodic reporting and ensuring clients remain compliant with bank covenants.

- Assist clients in credit rating exercises to enhance their financial standing. Management

Consulting and Financial Advisory:

- Providing external CFO services to clients requiring strategic financial guidance and oversight.

- Offer guidance on financial decision-making for various strategic initiatives, such as expansion via greenfield projects, capital expenditure investments, or other scenarios.

- Advising on effective financial reporting practices to enhance transparency and accountability within organizations.

- Develop and review management information systems (MIS) required by clients, guiding their teams until they can manage independently.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements by providing guidance on financial reporting and disclosure obligations.

- Designing and implementing financial systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

- Offering HR consulting services to optimize workforce management and organizational performance.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8-15 years of post-qualification experience in debt syndication and financial advisory.

- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint skills.

- Strong analytical skills combined with business and commercial acumen.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

- Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, accounting principles, taxation laws, and regulatory compliance requirements.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
