AVP - Custom Indices Administration - Investment Banking

- Engineering from a top-tier institute with a few courses in the finance area like CFA or FRM or major in finance (CA or MBA) with technology bend of mind.

- Working knowledge of relevant regulations applicable to the index administration function (like IOSCO Principles and EUBR) is a must.

- Relevant experience in investment strategy building or proprietary rule-based index maintenance for structured products division of an Investment bank or Hedge fund or Index provider.

- Demonstrate subject matter expertise by being able to flag issues in documentation, strategy logic or the calculation method and recommend an appropriate action in a such a situation

- Proven experience in team management, preferably in an off-shoring context.

- Diverse knowledge across the asset class.

- Good Knowledge of MS Excel and VBA, exposer to Confluence and JIRA.

- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and Python or MATLAB would be an added advantage.

- Demonstrate a high degree of analytical, numerical, and verbal competencies.

- Multi-tasking in a dynamic and fast changing environment effectively interacting and coordinating across various teams
