AVP - Credit Risk - Financial Institution (NBFCs, Domestic Banks, Foreign Banks, Brokers, Mutual Funds)

- Looking for AVP Credit Risk portfolio of financial institutions with banking client in Mumbai Location

- The role holder has the responsibility to manage the Bank's credit portfolio of financial institutions (NBFCs, Domestic Banks, Foreign Banks, Brokers, Mutual Funds etc.), from evaluating clients' creditworthiness towards approving or rejecting requests for sanctioning of credit facilities.

- Credit appraisal of financial institutions (NBFCs, Domestic Banks, Foreign Banks, Brokers, Mutual Funds etc.) in adherence to the organization policy.

- Identifying and mitigating risk by evaluating and recommending on exposure levels, collateral and guarantees, etc. for all regular banking/ treasury products.

- Review and adherence of the rating methodology / framework for risk classification.

- Manage credit risk across all products and transactions in wholesale bank.

- Active client interaction for risk assessment as well as execution of transactions.

- Manage business partner expectations within the Firm's risk appetite.

- Facilitate regular portfolio reviews to identify and present risks associated with portfolio and recommend relevant actions

- Responsible for identification of other risks and escalation to relevant risk partners.

- Regulatory interaction for Credit Risk Management.

- Maintaining a healthy portfolio to keep NPAs to the lowest levels possible.

- Analysis of portfolio and ensuring Portfolio monitoring, trigger reviews & delinquency control

- Capture and share best- practice knowledge amongst the team

- The role also entails overall portfolio responsibilities ranging from - monitoring and actioning wherein stress identified. The Job holder will be required to be well-versed with the regulatory and Bank's internal policies.
