AVP - Corporate Sales - Commercial Line - Insurance

1. Responsible for Top Line and Bottom line targets are given to Mumbai/West Zone location

2. He/She has to achieve a line of business-wise targets and profitability through brokers and directly from customers (tenders as well as direct dealings with Indian and multinational accounts)

3. He has to build a rapport & develop business from broking fraternity and direct customers in West Zone as per company philosophy and appetite

4. He has to build the overall book of commercial lines for West Zone

5. He/She is responsible for the retention of the commercial lines.

6. He/has to build a team commercial lines marketing and groom them about company philosophy, underwriting capability, competence, and guide, motivate & mentor them.

7. He/She has to grow the broking and direct business with a team of relationship managers, focus on building a large sustainable book of business.

8. Allocation of targets among different team members of the Commercial Lines and tracking and enabling performance against the same.

9. Responsible for the overall administration, operations and statutory compliance activities of the commercial lines of business with support from the corporate office

Skills required:

1. Knowledge /experience /skills

2. MBA with at least work exposure in West Zone in commercial lines/corporate marketing of a minimum of 15 years in General Insurance

3. He/She should be technically competent in insurance underwriting, claims, placement, Re-insurance, corporate marketing and liaising with Broking Fraternity and directly with corporate customers in West Zone

4. Should enjoy building from scratch and independent working. Needs to appreciate the importance of building a team & keeping the team motivated. Needs to be able to balance the requirements of business hygiene & compliance of the top-line pressure.
