AVP - Corporate Debt Advisory - Wholesale Credit & Market Risk

Wholesale Credit & Market Risk [WMR] is responsible for the approvals, policies, portfolio management and reporting on the Group's Wholesale Credit and Market Risk exposures.

The HBUS LMU Kolkata team supports North America Risk by managing / co-managing relationships within HSBC USA's CMB Business Banking, Mid-market, Large Corporate, Commercial Real Estate and Asset Based Lending portfolios as well as select GBM situations.

The role entails management/ co-management of a portfolio of classified/ distressed/ non-performing exposures by identifying signs of incipient sickness and formulating exit and/or recovery strategies, whilst minimising collection costs and credit losses, so that the risk profile of the Bank's aforesaid portfolios improve.
