Team Management : Direct Reporting 5 -10
Work experience : 8 years post qualification experience
Key Responsibilities :
- Planning Accounting Department Activities and Ensuring Execution
- Appropriate Process Setup for all Activities including Proper Control Environment setup
- Management of entire Record to report activities, including accounts payable management, cash and bank operations, asset accounting, general ledger scrutiny, finalization of accounts and notes to accounts.
- Take care of Various Accounting & Payments Aspects like Payments Team, Vendor management, Fixed Assets, Reconciliations etc
- Automations and Systems setup for various systems related aspects related to accounting function.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures and systems for smooth functioning of the accounts.
- Establish robust financial reporting mechanism & ensure discipline wrt accuracy and timeliness in reporting, by periodic critical review, both on quality and statutory parameters.
- Ensure all transactions meet the cost, quality & time-related performance standards as per the organization's policy.
- Draw up periodic financials for the entities for review by the top management/board and act upon the instructions therein.
- Ensure timely and accurate consolidation of subsidiary accounts into the holding company books with complete analysis and ensure timely closure of its audit.
- Ensure compliance of all regulatory aspects including timely payment of taxes, filing of returns, tax audits and assessments.
- Coordinate with various internal stakeholders and facilitate the growth of business.
- Supervise the accounting activities and be a first point of contact for all interactions, queries and their resolutions.
- Oversee the record keeping activities and act as a custodian of accounting & statutory records.
- Monitor the performance of the function and drive efficiencies.
- Appropriately Drive and Close Audits
Technical Skills :
- Transactional accounting, finalization of accounts.
- Statutory reporting, audit compliance, variance analysis, taxation and managing a team of professionals, supports.
Additional Desirable Skills :
- Accurate and timely reporting of financial statements, including periodic audits and review.
- Cost optimal management of the function and measurable inputs for growth of business.
- Timely & qualitative data compilation and analysis of business performance. Scheduled completion of the consolidation of statutory accounts at the holding company.
- Effective and precise budgeting, forecasting of all financial parameters of the business.
