AVP - Commercial - Chemical

Job Description :

- Lead the Commercial Excellence Program for India

- Trainer and Coach for sales commercial functions (Contract Management, Pricing, Price Management and Margin Management)

- Lead Campaigns to deliver a PBIT improvement of 1% through sales commercial management

- Lead VOC program in liaison with regional head office and global consultants for India to monitor the Voice of Customer for India

- Devising sourcing strategy to vendor identification, evaluation, RFQ, techno-commercial negotiations, vendor on-boarding, and so on

- Spearheading the entire gamut of procurement activities entailing sending enquiring, receiving quotations, preparing comparative statements, following up on material and conducting inspection of material

- Negotiating and finalizing the supplier in line with tender specifications

- Handling of international buying of Paper board, Kraft papers, chemicals, ink, varnishes, machine spares etc.

- Involved in Capital equipment and Project purchase, and brining overall cost effectiveness by adopting automisation

- Monitoring Inventory levels and control to ensure no excess material at the cost of ensuring no stock out

- Achieving cost reduction in procurement, packaging and shipping

- Identifying and developing potential vendors / suppliers for achieving cost effectiveness; assessing performance of the vendors based on their competitiveness, financial capabilities, and productivity

- Handling price negotiation, technical discussions with vendors & release of purchase order

- Developing long-term partnerships with suppliers; managing day-to-day supplier performance to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery and quality norms

- Assessing overall supply chain from factory to consumer focusing on regional and country logistics network infrastructure to design innovative solutions, reducing operational costs and improving delivery times while maintaining high service levels
