AVP - Collection - Banking (7-12 yrs)
- Strategy Development & Monitoring
- Develop & execute Collections Plan & Strategy to drive collections & cost
- Work with the Operations team, revenue tracking team, credit team to design and deliver collections, models and methodologies
- Regular review of collection strategies and suggest modifications from time-to-time to enhance productivity/efficiency.
- Develop cost optimal treatment optimization strategies including Dialer strategies.
- Build framework for governance of Strategic Framework & Monitoring
- Loss & Cost Management
- Lead Credit loss planning/forecasting and resources; Headcount and cost planning for function.
- Review of planned vs. actual performance and deep dive into portfolio for potential issues.
- Review Gap Analysis for key collection metrics in comparison to plan figures and come up with mitigation plan for potential/observed gaps.
Drive collections cost ;
- Perform periodic review of cost drivers and suggest corrective actions to optimize cost and collection channel utilization.
Digital Transformation :
- Digitise collections process & build a strong digital channel contributing to 100% of total collections.
- To Lay a roadmap for the system improvements/ digitisation and keep abreast with the innovations in collections field.
- To strengthen the Collections Digital Channel Drive Rapid parternship with the alternate sources to increase contact rates & build portoflio intelligence;
- Build settlement loss model (along with credit team) to optimize waiver rates at account level and
- Capacity & Performance Management
- Set team goals in line with Function's Goals & Objectives and help them achieve by building a strong review mechanism.
- Build digital dashboards to monitor collections performance to the last mile
- Drive Collections & Recovery efficiency
- Strong performance review mechanism for all channels of collections
- Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Leadership team to execute loss & cost plans and drive projects.
- Collaborate with other functions for seamless exchange of information/knowledge and get their support for various cross-functional dependencies.
- Work closely with Risk, Ops, Credit for planning, budgeting and provisioning processes.

- Strategic & Analytical thinking with deep understanding of Collections Function
- Exposure to Analytical tools and techniques
- Strong process orientation and process design capabilities.
- Experience in Financial planning & Cost Management Collaborate with Post Acquisition Risk to ensure the collections models are regularly reviewed and implemented and feedback loop completed
Must have Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline from a reputed and recognized institute/University.
- MBA will be preferred
Experience:
- 7-10 years of relevant industry / function exposure;
- Banking / NBFCs, with Minimum 5 yrs in lending Industry.
- Minimum 4 years of line experience of Collections
