AVP - Cloud Solution Specialist - Bank

Job Role

- Should have strong experience in creating solutions for a hybrid environment

- Should have delivered cloud related projects in the BFSI sector.

- Own end to end Solution for cloud related projects

- Conversant with best practices related to cloud technologies

- Should be conversant with project estimation and estimation of operational cost

- Should be able to liaise with various IT/BSG teams to understand & reciprocate Business requirements.

- Should be able to Demonstrate strong technology skills in the areas of Cloud & DevOps, data integration, data warehousing, data quality

- Strong knowledge of building Data Warehouse/Data Lake through ETL end to end creation experience for few projects using below services:

Amazon EC2 - Good understanding of VPC, Subnets, Security Groups etc.

S3 - Hands on knowledge to perform various File operations on S3 /S3 Glacier Files using AWS Glue and Athena

AWS Glue -

- To read incremental data from on premise DB using JDBC connection , Cloud, SFTP Folder/Shared Folder, Third party tools

- Push incremental data into RDBMS system/ Amazon Redshift

- Read incremental data from S3

- Hands on experience on working with AWS Glue Scripts using PySpark/ Scala/Python Shell/Core Python

Amazon Athena

Quicksight

- Working knowledge of dashboard creation/configuration on both Web and Mobile

AWS Sagemaker

AWS Redshift or Dynamo DB, Kinesis, Kafka

- Good knowledge of other AWS Services like :

Amazon Elastic Container Kubernetes

AWS EMR

Cloud watch

AWS Data migration service (DMS) and RDS

Scheduling Jobs through Lambda, Workflow

- Working knowledge of Building APIs (Not A Must)

- Should be a Team player & should display managerial skills to mentor his peers with good communication skills & should be able to work under pressure.

Job Requirements

- B.E/B.Tech. With at least 10+ years of experience. 3-5 years cloud related technologies

- Well versed with Cloud Technology Platforms, particularly AWS, SQL, excel functions, etc. is a must. Knowledge of Sybase/SAS is added advantage

- Experience in Banking/IT Industry

- Analytical skills & ability to quickly understand / anticipate the business requirement and outline the business benefit

- Provide Technical Leadership to Project Manager(s) for Delivery Excellence.

- Maintain/Improve Project Profitability of engagement by reducing buffers, consultant rotation, right grade/experience mix & high utilization and optimal onsite-offshore ratio.

- Multi project/engagement capabilities.

- Identify Training needs for the account and coordinate training with respective training groups.

- Work with Recruitment team and Practice to onboard consultants on time.

- Should work under minimal supervision and bring in ideas/views of own.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Evaluate the performance of team members and determine training needs.

- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
