AVP - Centralized Operations - Bank

Reporting to Head of Operations

Location : Dubai

Educational Qualification Candidates should be well qualified with relevant qualifications and have at least 10 years relevant experience in first class banks in UAE or India, of which at least 5 years in similar position.

Salary Range AED20 k - AED 24K

Job Purpose

- Oversee day to day functioning of the Centralized Processing Unit (CPU), Central Clearing Unit and the Card Center operations. Ensure agreed SLA's are met be by the respective department and branches of material nature are monitored.

- Ensure processes and procedures are up to date and are followed by departments in an efficient and effective manner, deviations if any are escalated and approval obtained as per procedures.

- Ensure proper monitoring is carried out on high value transactions through proper admin set up in the departments. Ensure no losses of revenue as well as reputation to the bank on account of error/omissions/delays.

- Proactively review requirements of business units in terms of operational support, in terms of alignment with business strategies and discuss in detail with the concerned business and support units for implementation/process improvements.

- Consistently review delivery process with a view to reduce turnaround times and achieve efficiency and cost benefits.

- Oversee implementation of new system and processes (for operations) to ensure the change-over is smooth and error-free. Manage operations projects, ensure their timely completion, achievement of objectives and cost efficiencies.

- Ensure that all transactions processed are in compliance with regulatory and Bank's policies, producers and standards with prompt intervention to resolve problems/concern areas.

- Preferably has good knowledge about Finacle system
