AVP - Business Development - Big4

We are looking for an Associate Vice President - Business Development ( From Big 4 group ) to work closely with the senior leadership team and take the lead on new business ventures. This is an exciting role with tremendous potential for someone with an entrepreneurial bent of mind. We are looking for a motivated and a dynamic person who is a self starter and who can drive the new business ventures to their logical conclusion

The job responsibilities would primarily include the following :

- Define the growth strategy and conceptualize a foray into new services / products - organically or via acquisitions / partnerships

- Conduct basic financial viability based on secondary market research

- Build financial models from scratch & run sensitivities

- Build comprehensive Business cases & present them to the senior management team

- Take ownership of the approved new business ventures and chart out the go - to - market strategy

- Coordinate with external consultants, finance team etc wherever required

- Build an industry wide network with angel and venture capital investors for sourcing the requisite opportunities

The Successful Applicant :

- As a successful Applicant, you will have 8+ years of experience across either business strategy / business development functions in a mid sized Indian company and / or venture / angel capital funding in a VC / PE fund.

- This is an end to end role and you must be able to take initiative and independently drive the new business ventures.

- You must be able to don multiple hats at the same time and have a good understanding of the commercial and the regulatory framework. Astute business acumen, including strategic financial planning and ability to guide team's efforts and energies in suitable projects and initiatives are a must.
