AVP - Business Analysis/Project Management - Credit Risk - Business Solution Group - Wholesale Banking

Our Client, a Leading Private Bank is looking to hire a AVP - Credit Risk - Business Solution Group (Wholesale Banking) to be based at Mumbai.

The ideal incumbent should be qualified from a reputed institute with 11-15 years experience of working on Credit Risk projects as a Business Analyst with project management expertise.

Purpose: Analyse, translate, and articulate Business concepts into system/process requirements with the objective to implement IT enabled solutions that meet Business user requirements within the regulatory guidelines and organizations priorities at any point of time with the objective to comply to the same.

Requirement:

- Prior experience in banking products/industry

- Functional knowledge of Basel & IND AS and Oracle's OFSAA product

- Functional knowledge of implementing Credit Risk projects related to Basel, IND AS, Expected Credit Loss and integration with Core banking & Collateral systems

Domain knowledge of either

Credit & Risk

Corporate Rating

Asset Products

- Hands on knowledge of SQL / Excel required for testing

- Experience in back-end validation and reconciliation techniques

- Knowledge of SDLC and Project management

- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills to articulate complex processes

Responsibilities:

Requirement analysis and design : Responsible for Functional Requirements Specification, Operations Process Design of Business user requirements. Ensure that Requirements are captured "First Time Right" from the user and translated into cost effective, efficient TO-BE processes by reducing process redundancies and deficiencies.

Functional Solution creation: Work with the vendor to define the functional solution for the business problem. Signoff on the vendor solution document ensuring that the same can be implemented and will address the requirements as defined by the sponsor.

Delivery Certification & Quality Management: Ensure UAT's are conducted in a through manner and the same translates to quality deliverables. Prepare test plans to ensure complete system functionality is tested. Prepare test plan to consider all business scenarios to be tested. Document the test data along with the test results to ensure resolution of the error and its impact on any other related functionality. Intimate all concerned about the testing results. Obtain the requisite sign-offs from audit/user/technology for the change/patch/bug fix to be moved to production Also ensuring necessary system / operational controls are laid down in order to ensure zero defect rollouts.

Production Support: Provide functional support for applications being managed. Analyze problems which are encountered in the production environment. Ensure Over all functional support for enhancement, errors, maintenance and production support for applications being managed. Planning and Scheduling production support activities. Bug fix resolution, UAT and implementation, SFR tracking and reporting

Interaction with Vendor, Business, BTG project resources for day to day operations

Work closely with the various teams to ensure deliverables are on track.

Progress Reporting: Monitor the project for task / schedule slippages. Report to the project manager any potential slippage in tasks for suitable action. Prepare project MIS to track, report and monitor the project.

Post implementation review: Based on the benefits mentioned in the Funding note, conduct a Post Implementation review. This activity should track the benefits as mentioned have actually been realized. The PIR should also highlight the issues that have taken place post production.

Functional Documentation: Document all systems under purview w.r.t. Functionality. Ensure all ITPP policies and followed and all necessary documents / signs off are filed for future reference
