AVP - Business Analyst (Asset Mgmt/ Wealth/ Investment Banking/ Capital Mkts/ Liquidity, Risk)

Role :

An aspirant will deal with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the sub function/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact.

Required Professional Expertise :

- Designing, documenting, and implementing data maps, data cleansing & controls

- Creating prototypes & easy to use, digital forms & controls (ideally SharePoint workflow)

- Governance, reporting and assurance processes and methodologies

- Working knowledge of Qliksense.

- Agile ways of working and managing Epics/User Stories in Jira

- Ability to gather, prioritise and translate business requirements into clear Epics/User Stories in Jira for technical colleagues to understand

- Proven ability in functional/business management, working across multi-disciplinary and diverse environments

- Analytical rigor and ability to visualize change information to form observations, conclusions & improvement recommendations

- Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively

- Dealt effectively with highly complex commercial information and business challenges to support strategic business plans which effectively deliver results

- Gap analysis to drive process mapping/ re-engineering design activities including wire-framing solutions.

Mandatory Skills :

- Hands on experience in Qliksense and Agile methodologies and excellent communication skills. Typically, from a Banking experience.
