AVP - Batch Credit Services Fulfilment & Delivery - BFS (10-15 yrs)

Batch Credit Services associates have the opportunity to contribute to the full program lifecycle; from requirements gathering to the fulfillment of the solution for internal and external customers. The incumbent is responsible for leading the current Batch credit services team in managing, streamlining, and constantly improving the delivery of batch products to customers. He/She is accountable for successful analysis and implementation of customer business requirements by developing an end to end processing solutions that includes design, setup, test, delivery and documentation. He/She will also represent the organization among other business units to support and drive departmental and strategic initiatives.

Objectives of this Role :

- Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans

- Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration

- Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity

- Work with sales and finance managers in the development of financial and budgetary plans

- Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary

Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives

- Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals

- Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations team to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks

- Devise strategies to ensure the growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs

- Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring regulations are followed

- Work with the Solution consulting team in interacting with clients to gather detailed business requirements; facilitate communication with clients and sales in regards to project progress and investigations

- Communicate customer issues with the operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints

- Provide consulting during proposal phase led by Sales to secure the sale

- Review, analyze, and translate requirements into TransUnion terminology

- Develop project milestone dates and track completion of deliverables in each phase

- Set up (configure), test and deliver batch solution requests (for new solutions as well as changes to existing) to customers in a timely manner ensuring that appropriate standards are followed and customer needs are met.

- Independent and resourceful with the ability to identify opportunities to optimize performance

Experience and skills:

- Master degree in business administration, preferably in the Financial Services industry

- 10+ years senior leadership role in the appropriate field

- Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management

- Proven ability to plan and manage the operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity

- Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands

- Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legislative guidelines

- Strong knowledge & experience of Retail & Commercial banking a must

- Ability to analyze moderately to complex data using logic and quantitative reasoning, and an intuitive capacity for problem-solving

- Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software (e.g., SAP, ERP, CRM)

- Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodology
