We have 1 very urgent position in one of the best BFSI brand :

POSITION - AVP - Bancassurance & Alliances [ Part of WEST zone ]

CHANNEL PARTNER - A large NBFC [ Captive group company ]

Grade - AVP

Team -- 70 currently [ FLS + 1ST line mgr + 2nd line mgr + 3rd line manager ]

Span of Control - Will handle Mumbai & part of WEST.

LOCATION :- Mumbai ( South Mumbai )

CTC : negotiable including variables ( depending upon current package, experience, education, interview status )

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- This will be a senior position within the partner channel and is a new role that has been created to further enhance CLIENT's focus on creating a stable and scalable channel that is expected to grow 2X YoY from hereon.


- The incumbent will play a pivotal role in defining the team's strategy in terms of distribution, manpower alignment, operational efficiency, partner engagement and ofcourse achieving both budgets and bottom line.

- Few of the key areas for the incumbent would be developing leadership within the team, minimizing attrition, relentlessly pursuing adoption of systems and processes as laid down by the company and delivering channel partner delight.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A. Role:

To achieve the organizational goal for the assigned territory in terms of revenue and cost and to maintain appropriate relationship with the representatives of channel partner in that geography.

B. Duties & Responsibilities:

Business Delivery

- Achieve the assigned target in terms of revenue

- Ensure appropriate spend management/ZBS assigned to the territory.

- Drive all sales initiatives so as to meet its objective

Business Development

- Implementation of overall business strategies to suit the local channel dynamics.

- Conduct out of office calls as per need of the team.

- Maintain appropriate resources as per channel partner agreement.

- Conduct reviews and feedback sessions with the teams and channel partner for continuous business delivery and business development.

Channel Partner Management

- Interact regularly with the channels partners at agreed levels to have a committed and a partnership based relationship.

- Communicating and agreeing appropriate expectations with the channel partners at the local level.

- Communicate organizational agenda effectively with the channel partner the local level.

People Management

- Appropriate team management with low attrition. Developing people in the team to take up higher roles.

- Maintain and develop skills and knowledge through appropriate training

- Ensure organizational agenda is cascaded effectively to the sales team

Skills & Qualifications / REQUIREMENTS :

Industry - Life Insurance .

Important Points -


1) Should have managed a region / zone (as is defined by each organization). CANDIDATES FROM OTHER PARTS OF INDIA HAVING CROSS GEOGRAPHICAL TEAM handling experience can also APPLY !

2) Should not be a transactional implementor across his region / zone. Should have a strategic thinking / strategic inclination towards products, pricing, R&R of channel partner, incentive structure inputs, strategic initiatives etc. [ IMPORTANT ]

3) Team handling experience is critical and should have managed front line teams that are geographically dispersed

4) Ideal candidate would be one who has developed and grown a business (exponential upside) within the assigned region / zone and not managed it and delivered incremental growth

5) Ability to deal with and engage senior stakeholders - IMPORTANT.
