Position: Assistant Vice President / Associate Fund Manager

Department: Research

Reporting to: HOD

Location: Churchgate

Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about asset allocation, multi asset, equity research and investments. The individual will be part of a team of analysts and will be tasked with assessing investment opportunities in different asset classes, fund, sectors. The main objective for the individual will be to produce thought- provoking multi asset research that will guide the capital allocation of the portfolio.

The work will involve:

1. Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis of investment proposals.

2. Keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry and related markets being researched

3. Develop and maintain models and investment thesis

4. Conduct comprehensive industry / fund research and analysis.

5. Prepare research reports and presentations.

6. Keep track of corporate announcements, current policies, and study the impact on Equities and Portfolio.

7. Regularly monitor developments in our investee companies through media updates, corporate announcements, and published results.

8. Regular portfolio analysis. Participate in research meetings

9. Willing to travel to meet managements, fund managers and attend conferences.

10. Willing to Mentor Juniors and build Teams.

Candidate Profile:

- Must be curios.

- Willing to work hard and smart

- Educational qualifications can be from any field. A CFA certificate will be added advantage.

- Well informed about different asset classes and macro issues, with a conceptual

understanding of important technical terms.

- A deep interest and aptitude for analyzing financial information, strategic issues, and trends that affect companies, industries, and markets on a regional and global scale.

- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, familiar with financial modelling & valuation methods.

- Strong in accounting and investing concepts.

Experience: 5 - 7 years

- Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to provide & defend an opinion with management
