AVP/Associate Director - Digital Initiatives - Life Insurance

We are looking for an Associate Director for a client with a global presence based at Gurgaon.

Job Location : Gurgaon

Grade : AVP

Education : BE. / B.Tech

Experience : 15+ years ; experience in leading large and diversified portfolios of technology enabled initiatives in life insurance industry is must, preferably in Operations and/or Distribution Management related systems and processes.

CTC : Standard Industry Hike

Working Conditions : 12 am to 9 pm; 5 days working,

Primary Responsibilities

1. Adept at managing large business and/or technology transformation projects/ programs ( ~100FTE & US$10 M budget).

2. Demonstrated experience in leading large and diversified portfolios of technology enabled initiatives in life insurance industry is must, preferably in Operations and/or Distribution Management related systems and processes.

3. Establishing and leading executive sponsorship and governance and aligning complex program roadmaps, diverse stakeholders, and inter-dependencies.

4. Adept at working with business and understanding their priorities.

5. Ability to lead through influence in a complex and evolving environment to meet challenging timelines and organizational goals.

6. Results oriented, and able to lead and engage with others to meet program and business objectives.

7. Hands on experience on aspects like financial planning, resource planning and management, and risk management.

8. Deep knowledge of project techniques, tools and IT Project Management methodologies (such as waterfall, agile and hybrid).

9. Leading and partnering with multiple vendors successfully.

10. Organization change management and communications with an excellent interpersonal, communication, managerial, motivational, organizational and planning skills.

11. Leading large teams; people development; coaching and mentoring of others.

12. Ability to deal with  greys. A thought leader, inquisitive and comfortable in challenging the status quo.

13. Ability to organize and manage execution remotely with large groups.

14. Experience in eBao, Callidus and Majesco systems is highly preferred.

15. The job will require travel outside of India & PH and the applicant should be open to the same.
