Job Description:

- Ensure the team performs monthly activities on time

- Help the team in reviewing monthly deliverables. Build robust controls in the processes from review stand point

- Help the team to identify and implement process improvement initiatives or standardization ideas that will increase productivity and efficiency, reduce cycle or processing time and reduce error rates

- Support and adhere to both regional and global procedures and rules of the road (change control, methodologies etc.)

- Reply on timely basis to all Various ad-hoc requests and project deliverables

- Managing, Training, Coaching, Cross training and Mentoring the financial analyst in the team. Practice and ensure discipline within the team

- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate financial standards and regulatory requirements

- Maintain internal control. Ensure Control checks are built in all the files and checks them thoroughly during process reviews

- Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Monitor progress/changes and keep senior leadership abreast of unusual financial details

- Ensure Audit readiness always. Risk and control related documents are ready and updated for all the changes

- Timely collaborate with respective system operation team to assess the financial effectiveness of system operations and establish finance and administrative systems to support BAU

- Ensure team completes all the deliverables within set timelines

Qualifications:

- A master degree in finance like MBA (Finance) and/or M.Com

- Professional qualification like CA/CPA/CFA/ICWA

Knowledge/Experience:

- 10+ years experience in accounting and/or finance

- Exposure to evaluating, presenting and reporting financial information to executive teams and external stakeholders

- Highly effective communicator, able to interact with senior, global business management

- Strong systems knowledge with drive and ability to continuously develop and improve processes

- Strong in accounting and financial analysis

- Demonstrated strengths in building trusted relationships with management

- Strong communication skills are essential: able to deal with Internal/external clients at various levels

- Should have experience of People Management

- Proactive approach to problem solving

- Business acumen supported by ability to manage and influence across a matrix organization

- Planning/ organizational skills, able to prioritize work

- Ability to use own initiative and take lead to devise creative solutions (pro-active)

- Team Manager and strong Team player

- Sound understanding of Accounting concepts

- Strong Analytical and Interpersonal skills

- Strong in MS Office (Excel, word, PPT)

- Adaptable to change

- Proven ability to take action beyond what is required. Leverage strengths of the current finance team members, help to clarify roles and responsibilities and develop and implement training programs in order to maximize and reach optimal individual and organizational goals

- Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; create and promote a positive and supportive work environment
