JOB PURPOSE : - Facilitate design and delivery of strategic HR initiatives across the Avendus group (working alongside a team as required) - As an HRBP, work closely with Director-HR to deliver value-adding service across the talent life-cycle for the respective business vertical - Institutional Equities, Asset Management, Investment Banking, Credit Solutions and Partner Functions businesses KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY : HR Strategy : - Work alongside a team to conceptualize, design and execute strategic HR projects related to Organization Development initiatives etc. - Stay abreast with and recommend best practices - Work closely with and engage relevant consultants as required Recruitment : - Play an active role in driving the end-to-end recruitment process for junior and mid-level hires and support the team on senior-level recruitment as required - Work closely with and engage recruitment consultants as required - Stay abreast on talent movements across the relevant market landscape - Ensure meticulous recruitment tracking and provide regular updates as required Onboarding : - Facilitate the on-boarding process for junior and mid-level hires and support the team on senior-level onboarding as required Learning and Development: - Work closely with the Chief Learning Officer and Director-HR to identify learning needs, facilitate execution of learning interventions, progress tracking etc. Compensation and Benefits : - Work closely with Director-HR and Head-HR to articulate and cascade a well-defined compensation philosophy across relevant businesses - Be involved in compensation benchmarking with relevant partners and facilitate subsequent tracking and updates Performance Management : - Provide support across the Performance Management process; from Goal Setting to Year-End Appraisal - Provide feedback and guide employees through the process as required (especially at the junior and mid-level) - Provide support to the Director-HR to execute the year-end exercise including data management, bonus computation, disbursement etc. as required Engagement & Employee Connect : - Support in driving employee engagement initiatives at the central and business level - Stay connected with and understand the pulse of employees especially at the junior and mid-level - Facilitate employee query resolution as required EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : - MBA/PGBDM with a specialization in Human Resources - 2-4 years post MBA experience - financial services experience (preferred) SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED (IF ANY) : - Execution excellence - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent interpersonal skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Collaborative mindset - Good at Stakeholder Management - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
