Position: Associate - Credit (Wholesale lending) Experience: 4 to 6 years of relevant experience Location: Mumbai Responsibilities: - Credit appraisal for lending to innovative enterprises including NBFCs and MSMEs with thorough analysis of financial statements and other financial and non- financial information - Structure lending solutions to ensure inclusiveness of credit worthy borrowers and mitigating credit risk - Conducting on-field due diligence for clients across governance, operations, business etc. - Prepare detailed credit appraisal memos and present the case to credit committee to obtain sanctions for the client and ensure timely disbursement - Portfolio monitoring post disbursement, constantly engaging with the clients and providing early warning signals along with probability or risk at regular intervals - Assist in enhancement of credit policy from time to time - Acknowledging the role of technology in robust underwriting to ensure a quality portfolio and constantly provide inputs to technology team for improvised underwriting Skills required: - Entrepreneurial with a passion to achieve time bound goals and take responsibilities beyond primary role towards institutional building - Strategic in thinking and keep developing new structures and products to mitigate credit risk - Demonstrated track record of credit appraisal for NBFCs, digital lending companies, MFIs and MSMEs - Develop and enforce credit processes in line with operating processes - Excellent written and oral communication. High level of proficiency in excel and power point is a must with a track record of making Investor decks and credit appraisal memos Remuneration: Fixed + Variable
