Job Title : Associate/Analyst Role description : The person will be responsible for supporting investment evaluation and diligence at Avaana Capital Growth Fund I, including - Investment Evaluation : Build financial model, conduct primary and secondary research on sector and company, conduct field visits and interviews with experts to develop views on industry and company - Due Diligence : Work (with supervision) with external agencies for financial, commercial, legal and any other external due diligence as may be required - Documentation : Work with lawyers and the investment team for the proper and timely execution of agreements - Pipeline tracking : Track and report key pipeline metrics, work with the investment team to develop the pipeline What we are looking for : Ideal candidate : - Has 3-5 years of venture capital or private equity experience (Must - Candidates without venture capital or private equity experience will not be considered) - Has exposure to transactions in financial services, consumer goods and services and/ or market enablers such as logistics - Has strong written and oral communication skills - Has strong financial modeling skills - Has worked in high energy, fast-paced team environment - Brings a can-do attitude and high energy to the team Location : Mumbai
