Role:

The finance and operations professional will work closely with the CFO's office on key deliverables including financial reporting, MIS management, compliance and governance of Avaana entities, performance review of portfolio entities, audits, stakeholder management, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the Financial Reporting of Avaana Entities including a Investment Manager LLP, Fund and NBFC

- Responsible for the MIS management for financial and business performance

- Compliance Management - IT, GST, SEBI, RBI and other VC Fund related compliances

- Lead statutory and other regulatory audit processes (including inspection from SEBI, RBI & any other regulatory body) and ensure seamless closure within the timelines

- Overseeing the Fund operations in accordance with the agreement

- Assist in portfolio companies' performance review monitoring and reporting on quarterly basis

- Stakeholder Management (auditors, trustees, bankers and other stakeholders) on a timely basis

- Assist the CFO in the valuation exercise of the Fund portfolio companies

- Assist the CFO in any strategic matters across Avaana entities

Required Qualifications and Attributes:

- CA with 2-3 years of relevant work experience across Finance & Accounts, Income Tax, GST, Compliance & Governance, Analytics, etc. (Prior experience with VC/PE fund preferred)

- Understanding of operational and strategic aspects of Tax, Compliance, Governance Framework and Accounting software (Tally) preferably in a multi entity scenario.

- Detail-oriented, proactive and self-motivated.

- Strong project management capabilities and ability to work across teams

- Highly motivated, self-starter, proactive, with a strong orientation towards learning
