AVAADA POWER PRIVATE LIMITED is one of the pioneers of solar power in India. We through our associate companies Welspun Energy Private Limited and Welspun Renewables Energy Private Limited developed more than 1 GW solar and wind projects in India. We were the first Indian Independent Power Producer (IPP) to achieve the milestones of developing 500 MW & 1 GW renewable projects in India. Job Purpose : 


- The purpose of this role is to lead, manage and control the efficient and safe operation and maintenance of the commissioned solar and wind plants of the company on a sustained basis and to maximise revenue generation and profitability and compliance to all statutory regulations and rules


Key Roles & Responsibilities :


Objectives : Maximize Investor value

KRA: Plant availability, generation efficiency & revenue targets 


- Revenue Realisation

Objectives : Drive operational efficiency

- KRA : Achieving the target generation (PR)

Objectives : Optimize Operating and Maintenance Cost


- KRA: Budget formulation, expenses control

- New Initiatives

- Minimize consumption of resources

Objectives : Ensure completion of scheduled maintenance


- KRA: Adherence to the maintenance schedule Generation loss due to equipment breakdown

Plant availability

Objectives : Statutory and regulatory compliances

- KRA: Compliance to statutory regulations and renewals of licenses/approvals

Objectives : Drive HSE culture and compliance

- KRA: Major and minor accidents : Formulate and implement effective safety systems to minimize and eliminate accidents

Objectives : People & Relationship management

KRA :


- Learning and Development

Qualification : Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology either in Electrical or Electronics area

Work experience required : Minimum 15-20 years of experience, out of which at least 5/10 years in O&M of power plants, and at least 2-3 years in renewable energy plants.
