Corporate Legal
- Managing diverse variety of legal matters arising out of the Company's business operations, including but not limited to review and drafting of power purchase agreement or other ancillary agreements with the discoms and open access customers
- Review of Tender/ bid documentation and other general commercial contracts such as Equity/debt funding, EPC in electricity, LNG, manufacturing etc.
- Managing litigations/ dispute resolution on regulatory and land matter pending before various courts and tribunals in co-ordination with law firms and external counsels i.e., before Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC/CERC), APTEL, District Courts, High Courts and Supreme Court
- Extensive coordination with internal and external stakeholders including advocates, Sr. Advocates, law firms, government agencies, in strategizing and responding to legal notices, draft pleading, petitions, appeals and others
- Proactively and cost effectively manage litigation and other legal disputes, which shall include cost-effectively managing outside counsels
- Other day to day business support such as drafting of agreements, letter to the government authorities and legal notices and opinions
- Conduct legal analysis and provide advice on laws, rules, regulations and policies
- Safeguard Avaada Energys code of conduct for employees and vendors
Required Candidate profile :
- 8 -10 years of industry experience (Electricity and renewable sector including LNG/ hydrogen and ammonia and manufacturing)
- Team player with experience in handling a big team
- Good communication skills
