- Head of Automation is a highly visible position central to the overall account ownership and client relationship.

- With a full P&L, you will "sell, lead and execute" to develop and deliver Insurance industry centric automation solutions, helping the Insurance industry turn digital disruptions into competitive advantage.

- Your unit will bring together Insurance industry talent, domain knowledge, agile capabilities, cutting edge automation know-how, frameworks, and automation assets to simplify processes, enhance operating environments, mitigate operational risks, modernize operating models, and increase process efficiency and effectiveness for clients.

What you'll be doing:

Service Delivery:

- Responsible for managing multi-applications insurance automation solution delivery with complex integrations across multiple accounts simultaneously.

- Ensure total adherence to SLAs/KPIs with focused implementation of process improvements and best practices.

- Establish client/s automation roadmap; set up governance for regular updates to key client and internal business stakeholders on progress.

- Follow client/s governance model to submit cost proposals for automation along with client account management team; ensure regular sign offs on schedule and cost variances

Develop and implement a Hyperautomation strategy for its clients:

- Plan a long-term strategic roadmap by aligning business goals, identifying processes to optimize and choosing complementary technologies.

- Build an integration strategy that enables end-to-end process automation by helping your organization to assemble RPA, business process management (BPM), Event-driven software architecture, Low Code No Code applications and other types of decision, process and task-automation tools (DigitalOps Tools)

- Augment business processes by progressively integrating AI applications with DigitalOps tools to unlock long-term business value.

Process Improvement and Innovation:

- Drive the implementation of development best practices throughout the organization, while governing control and ensuring objectives are achieved. Risk management, resource allocation, project prioritization, and research and recommendation of new automation systems, products, and services.

- Prepare the organization for regulatory and other compliance audits; ensure audits for ongoing projects based on client/s governance framework

- Foster culture of innovation and fast execution, leading by example and hands-on execution.

- Partner with client Operations teams to convert manual process to digital process and collaboratively develop and manage a digital workforce

- Partner with Operations COE to Create a 3-5 year digital roadmap for client base to convert current FTE based revenue to digital platform + FTE or outcome based revenue

Business Development:

- Lead business development initiatives, RFP response preparation and pre-sales engagements.

- Own Revenue and P&L for Automation COE; create revenue plan for 3-5 years considering existing client base and potential client growth

- Utilize larger solutions from other client technology teams/companies to leverage for automation or digital transformation roadmap for client/s

- Represent the organization at different forums, seminars, conferences as the brand ambassador.

Staffing:

- Drive the talent management effort for Automation, including hiring, developing, goal setting, training, and retaining a best-in-class team spread across geographies

- Develop competencies and resources in view of expectations of Insurance + Automation industry

- Maintain a healthy Gross Margin and pricing strategy aligned with clients broader financial goals

What you'll bring to the team:

- 20+ years of experience in leading large technology automation delivery teams and driving product roadmaps. Master's in a relevant discipline from a top university is strongly preferred Thorough understanding of P&C insurance carriers/Brokers/MGAs functioning, pain points & broad understanding of their automation needs

- Solution delivery experience using RPA tools (E.g., UIPath, Workfusion etc.) and involved life cycle stages (estimation, designing, testing, implementation, infrastructure requirement etc.)

- Experience in implementing solutions using Artificial Intelligence components like ML, NLP, etc

- Excellence in strategic and analytical problem solving - Quantitative, fact-based approach to team-based problem solving and strategic approach to addressing issues and offering solutions. Candidates should have an aptitude for analytical concepts and thinking.

- Business acumen and IT knowledge - Strong business development skills. Must understand current market trends, risks and prevalent automation technologies used in the global Insurance industry.

- Outstanding leadership and communication skills - Polished verbal and written communication style. Ability to confidently build a strong rapport with project teams and the client.

- Personal drive - Entrepreneurial drive with a can-do attitude, and a strong desire to learn and shape your own career path. Commitment to making a positive lasting client impact.

- Self-guided attitude - The ability to succeed in a professional environment where client and project direction is not always well defined. Qualified candidates will understand how to produce results when working in challenging client environments and/or new business areas.

- Cultural adaptability - The ability to work in a globally distributed environment with customers based in different regions across US/UK/AU/NZ/SG/HK and the workforce is primarily of an Indian origin

- Excellence in Engagement Management derived from outstanding communication skills with the ability to mentor and motivate developers leads, and peers.

- Track record of convincing work in areas of sales and consulting for IT opportunities

- Ability to manage large budget engagements and revenue responsibility

- Exposure to participation at Insurance and/or Automation seminars/conferences in the capacity of speaker/contestant

- Exposure to Hyperautomation use cases in practise would be an added advantage
