Automation Anywhere - Senior Director - Engineering

As Sr. Director Engineering at India Development Center, you will manage all technology related tasks to the day to day operations, staffing and consistent creation of software to enable business needs. You will lead the Center's development staff to enhance existing systems and fulfill the future business needs. You will maintain the appropriate quality of design, development, and documentation to create a learning organization of developers. You are a leader who has expertise and judgment in working across multiple functional areas within an organization and have previous experience in successfully building, mentoring large software development teams.

Responsibilities

- Lead the India Center Software Development division, comprised of Client, Core, Server, and Cognitive Enterprise engineering services team.

- Divisional oversight of recruitment, engineering delivery, quality, and management.

- Provide leadership and direction for all Development teams to identify knowledge management, training, and execution for all technical implementations.

- Champion existing technology stack and drive implementation of new technologies/components.

- Focus on consistent delivery of high-quality software and integration points that move the company towards achieving short and long-term objectives.

- Implement and continuously iterate on the company's Software Development and Security Development lifecycles.

- Enforce implementation and execution best practices throughout software development lifecycle

Qualifications :

- Degree in Computer Engineering or the equivalent, plus a minimum of 15 years leading a Software Development division. Masters a plus.

- 12-20 years working in software development or application delivery.

- Manages multiple tasks, be detail oriented, responsible and show a high level of critical thinking.

- Will possess excelling communication (verbal/written), organizational and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment that is undergoing change.
